As an accredited Chest Pain Center by the American College of Cardiology, Merit Health Wesley provides around-the-clock heart care. The chest pain center team knows the warning signs and delivers rapid treatment to patients in the early stages of heart attacks. Early intervention and attention reduces strain on the heart and creates better outcomes. Merit Health Wesley was the first hospital in south Mississippi to be awarded Heart Failure accreditation - and only the 2nd hospital in state of Mississippi and the 58th hospital nationwide to earn this distinction.
