Application Process
- Applications are accepted July 1 through December 1 each year.
- Criteria for the application to be reviewed include a passing score on COMLEX USA 1, COMLEX 2CE and COMLEX 2PE or a passing score on USMLE Step 1, USMLE Step 2 CK and USMLE Step 2 CS.
- We accept J-1 Visa’s ONLY at this time.
- Graduation from a medical school outside of the United States or Canada, and meeting one of following additional qualifications:
- Holds a currently valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates prior to appointment, or,
- Holds a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a US licensing jurisdiction in his or her current ACGME specialty/subspecialty program or,
- Has graduated from a medical school outside the United States and has completed a Fifth Pathway program provided by an LCME-accredited medical school.
- ERAS applications and NRMP Match are used to fill positions.
- Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications to be eligible for appointment to an ACGME-accredited program:
- Graduation from a medical school in the United States or Canada, accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME); or,
- Graduation from a college of osteopathic medicine in the United States accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
